Jane Steenstra Jane has been at the leading edge of the evolving Design & Technology and Information & Communication Technology curriculum for 17 years. During this exciting and dynamic time she has developed extensive experience of teaching and learning methodologies; curriculum and professional development; and management including organisation, team, change, research, publication, project and events.

It was while working on the ‘Design for Profit’ conference report that Jane became passionate about the industry – education link. This inspired the successful Design Council funded ‘TopLink’ project.

More recently Jane was project manager for TopLink, a Design Council funded project which focused on the importance of design in industry and the impact this has in education. This experience reaffirmed the benefits this link has to offer and the excitement it generates in staff and pupils alike. A renewed spark in Design & Technology education that needs to be kindled.

M.A.- Management in Education
Successfully completed training as NPQH tutor (National Professional Qualification for Headship)
Accredited trainer for the CADCAM in Schools Initiative including Pro-Desktop and Artcam
